The Mount Church is a new church family in Cypress, Texas.
We exist to glorify God by multiplying Spirit-led disciple-makers and churches.
Our ultimate purpose is to glorify God in everything we do. We pursue that purpose by helping people become mature disciples of Jesus — transformed by His grace, led by the Holy Spirit, and growing in obedience to Him. As lives are changed and disciples are multiplied, the Church is strengthened and expanded through healthy communities and multiplying churches, all for the glory of God.
We believe that when you follow Jesus and live in authentic relationships as He modeled, lives are changed, disciples are formed, churches are multiplied, and God is glorified.
Five commitments that shape who we are and how we follow Jesus together.
We help people follow Jesus deeply and multiply disciples who make disciples.
“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’”
Matthew 28:18–20 · NIVTrue discipleship is more than knowledge — it is surrender, obedience, and daily transformation through God's Word.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
Matthew 7:24 · NIVWe pursue authentic relationships where people are known, sharpened, encouraged, and challenged in love.
“then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.”
Philippians 2:2 · NIVWe live sent — carrying the Gospel into our homes, workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, and nations.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Acts 1:8 · NIVThe Bible is our authority, and the truth of Jesus changes hearts, families, and communities.
“To those who had believed him, Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’”
John 8:31–32 · NIVThe people who’d love to welcome you and your family.
